Description
1. Main purpose of the position:
The incumbent to this role is responsible for technical management of Navision ERP system, other business applications and IT service delivery across the factory and branch offices.
2. Reporting in to this position (designation and level)
a. Routine/Direct: IT Support Officer
b. Functional/Indirect:
3. Key responsibilities:
a. Coordinates with IT Support Team to ensure delivery of IT Service and demands to business users are fulfilled within SLA’s
b. Maintain and document compliance and standards of IT procedures, internal controls related to all business systems and service delivery.
c. Enhances Navision ERP & business systems solutions team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
d. Identifies Navision ERP & business systems solutions requirements by interviewing key business users; analysing work processes and operations; establishing solution objectives; preparing specifications.
e. Develops Navision ERP solution by designing integrated models; identifying and evaluating solution options; resolving major solution issues.
f. Participate in Navision ERP & business systems projects as a local technical lead to ensure business requirements are aligned to deliver expected objectives.
g. Implement and maintain change management procedure related to business systems and service delivery.
h. Ensure onsite and offline backup of all critical business systems such as Navision ERP, VIP Payroll, Time and Attendance and plant systems
i. Work with vendors and service providers to ensure services are delivered & issues resolution as per SLA’s
j. Managing direct reports as per guidance by ICT Manager
k. Any other duties deemed necessary by Company’s management

5. Procurement responsibility:
a) Assist the procurement department in selection of IT equipment in line with required IT specifications
KEY SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
1. Qualifications required:
i. Minimum academic qualification:
Bachelors in Computer related field with IT Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft SQL DBA, and Navision ERP.
ii. Qualifications as an added advantage:
ERP implementation in a manufacturing industry
Data analysis and reporting
Business processes mapping
IT Service management
Effective communication & collaboration skills
2. Experience required:
i. General work experience (years): 3 Years
ii. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 5 Years
iii. Industry: Manufacturing in an ERP environment: 3 Years
3. Key Performance Indicators :
a. 99.99% performance and uptime of Navision ERP and Business systems
b. 99% IT Helpdesk SLA adherence including escalated issues to vendors
c. Ensure all business systems change requests are documented.
d. Provide monthly availability & performance reports of business systems and IT Helpdesk Support.
